I must admit, I doddled off into some other GMAT forums in the last few days - obviously I was lost! I must admit, that I'm lucky to have stumbled upon gc.com here first because IMO it really is the best forum out there.
Let me just say that I have access to the MGMAT online question banks and will soon be purchasing the GMAT club tests (unless I make 180 posts in the next day or two) ... however I read one guys opinion on another forum that the MGMAT online banks were maybe more for taking a 750 score and inching it towards 800 whereas GC tests were more like trying to get a 700 score up to a 750. He wasn't critizing the GMATclub tests, in fact he referred to them as the "real deal" and endorsed it as a useful tool in GMAT prep. I'm just curious on your take on his opinion. I've done some of the MGMAT online questions and I like them cause they are hard, but some are just teetering on impossible to conceptualize and solve in 2 or less.
Can I get some reaction from you GMAT prep vets?

MGMAT Quant questions involve way too many steps. Although I've only done one GMATClub test a while ago, I would said the GMATClub questions are much more on par to what you're going to see on the real GMAT. The GMATClub questions I did involved a lot of the traps that you might fall into on the real test. The concepts MGMAT tests are too complex. However, they do help with timing, if that's an issue.

Thanks for the reply. Thats about what I've heard and the impression I've got. I can't wait to get thru these MGMAT quant guides so I can sink my teeth into the GMAT club tests.
