Melanine bought it for 2/9 th less of Mia's price (27$) => 2/9 * 27 = 6 So Melanine bought shirt for 27 - 6 = 21$

Discount = [(45 - 21) / 45 ]* 100 = [24 / 45] * 100 = 53%
