Marked Price = 45
Selling Price at retailer = 27
Selling price at online store = 27-27*2/9= 21

Discount at Online store = 45-21 = 24

Discount percent = 24/45*100 = 53.33 %

Ans. D

IMO D

Melanine bought it for 2/9 th less of Mia's price (27$)
=> 2/9 * 27 = 6
So Melanine bought shirt for 27 - 6 = 21 $

Discount = [(45 - 21) / 45 ]* 100 = [24 / 45] * 100 = 53%

Original Price = 45

Mia purchased it at = 27

Online Price = 21

Discount offered by Online store is \(\frac{( 45 - 21 )}{45}*100\) =53 % answer will be (D)
