Accelerated: 2.5-3.0 years to graduate (a student can graduate in 2.0 years, but only if taking a full time load -- balancing a job with a full-time class load is impractical for most)
Traditional: 3-4 years to graduate (however, the program allows up to 10 years to graduate)
Class schedule
Synchronous Weekday Evenings: Typically, classes are offered Monday through Friday, 6-7:30 p.m. (Eastern) --OR-- 8-9:30 p.m. (Eastern). Each class will meet four times during the half-semester duration.
Asynchronous Self-Guided Study: Short modules, readings, and exercises explain key concepts. Students can work at their own pace on this material as long as they have completed certain designated modules in time for the live learning event.
Additional details: 57 credit hours to complete the degree -- 27 hours of core, 18 hours of electives, 9 hours of residencies (over three different on-campus learning events) and 3 hours of MAP ("Multidisciplinary Action Project"). Global immersion opportunities are available. Typically, in a three year schedule, students will be on campus once a year to work together and to work with the Career Development Office (which is available to OMBA students for help with on-campus interviews and personal coaching.
* Semesters are split in half to provide greater scheduling flexibility; most students take 1 (or occasionally 2) classes per half-semester.
