Michigan Time Deadline?

Question

I know it's Jan 7th but:
12 am central?
5 pm central?
or, worse yet, 11:59:59pm on Jan 6th?

Any other guesses?

I need to plan my essay completion tactics around the Seahawks playoff game tomorrow.

Any other Hawk fans out there?

If it was like Rd 1, then the deadline is Jan 7th at 11:59 pm.

they dont say anything explicitly, so should be 11:59pm. But I would advise against waiting till last day...so dont even think about last minute

For those last minute applicants, Michigan is in eastern time.

Second, gmatmaba I'm interested in why one wouldn't want to finish their essay on the last day. Do you think one will be penalized or did I miss your sarcasm.

Schools always say that due to last minute rush, you may experience problems submitting apps so I was just making a suggestion that if you can get rid of last minute worries by submitting the app a couple of days before the deadline. If you are running tight and need that extra time...then I guess you dont have much choice.

I called them, and the official deadline is 7th, 11:59 pm, Central Time

just submitted my app at 9:59 EST. The NFL playoffs ddin't helped me make this deadline.

I'm definitely submitting my R2 Marshall app (1/15) a few days early. I'm going to the SD playoff game next weekend and I can't stomach another close call.

So I got everything for this app in on time, but now it turns out one of my recommenders was confused about the deadline. My recommenders have been very good about submitting their stuff in a timely manner, so I didn't hassle them about it this time around. How do you guys think Ross will view having one of my recs come in today? Am I a screwed?
