· Any specific questions you would like answered by our team: I worked incredibly hard to get the 620 GMAT score, and I know that among the elite scorers on this forum, a 620 is not much to brag about. I also understand that my undergrad GPA is quite a bad mark against me. I was given advice by my mentor who was accepted into Cornell back in 2010 with a 530 GMAT that because he was a veteran with strong work experience leading diverse teams in pressurized environments, schools were willing to overlook a slightly lower score. I have dream schools listed above and very achievable schools listed above, but my mentor has been pushing me to apply to programs like Harvard regardless because of my strong work experience, higher quant score, and rock solid performance reviews. I am curious what your team thinks of my profile so far, and I am 100% open to feedback even if it's not what I will like to hear. I am ready and prepared to do anything it takes to get into a quality program.
Long story short on my background: I was a low performing college student, and I thought that my summer business internships with strong recommendations would be enough to offset my GPA, but all employers cared about was a 3.5-4.0 GPA when I graduated in 2016. So I joined the Navy as an Officer and turned my academics around. As you can see, after I commissioned, my performance has been strong. Standing by for constructive feedback.
