Hey Gunner 1825,

The detail you have mentioned only gives us a very brief idea about your profile. While your CGPA and TOEFL scores are good, more detail about what you did in your work experiences, your extracurricular activities and the positions you held is required to analyze your profile better.

You don’t have enough work experience for the MBA, but you will surely be eligible for the Masters in Management. Most of the applicants at the top MiM Schools are from India, and most of those from India are Engineers. Hence it is very important to create essays that make you stand out from the rest of the applicant pool.

You can take up our Free Profile Evaluation test where you can add more data, so that we can evaluate your profile better and suggest a few schools.

I am very much interested in doing MiM. I have given my TOEFL and scored 107. I am yet to give my GMAT. But it's becoming difficult as I only have around one and half month to write gmat before the second round of admission starts. I wanted to know which college to select which doesn't require a GMAT score. I have already got an offer from Grenoble for their MIB program. However I wanted to know other top colleges which don't require GMAT. Like UCD, ESMT, TCD, Grenoble, IE.
Which will you suggest me to aim for among these, keeping in mind the job opportunities after finishing the course.

Cheers.

You could consider giving IETTS as more and more european schools accept IELTS and dont even require gmat score.

I had recently given my GMAT and got a mere 530....which was really a bummer to me...I had planned to apply for MIM programs for2018...but with the current score and lack of work experience....should i give another shot at GMAT before the final round of application deadline or should i gain an year of work experience and apply next year? The main doubt is ...saying i give my GMAT and get a 680+ score....would i get admitted in the final round deadline?

Hey Affi,

You have 2 options. You can give the GMAT again, and start working on your applications in parallel with your GMAT preparation. This will ensure that you will get enough time to prepare, and can target the Round 4 deadlines.

Or, you can target schools which don’t require the GMAT. There are some very good colleges such as IE, NUS, and ESMT which you can target.
Since you’re fighting for the last 20% of the seats, make sure that you present a strong application that highlights your strengths and motivations.
You can get your profile evaluated by taking our free profile evaluation test. Afterwards we will get a better idea of your profile and can suggest a course of action based on the same.
