Hey,
I am new to this. So I have done my Masters in commerce but it is of no value. I graduated in 2012. I only have one part of the Final level of Indian CA exams. I finished my training in Bombay, India during which I was working as an audit assistant. I'm right now appearing for CMA which I will be finished with by December 2015. I was working with an audit firm here in Dubai, UAE for 2 years but now I'm working with an insurance broker in Internal audit. I'm planning to apply next year for an MIM with HEC. My extra circular activities are restricted to some volunteering work with an NGO here. So I wanted to know how should I go about it from here ? What is the GMAT score I should aim for and do I have a chance ? I don't want to do an Msc in Finance. And I'm 25 years old.

You seem to have an interesting profile with some solid work experience.
You have international work experience, that is very much valued by schools so that is a huge plus.
NGO experience is also a plus point, as schools love people who can think about more than just themselves.
Also the extra exams and certifications you have taken, show you are passionate about finance.
I am sure there are a lot of other things, which you have failed to mention and which will ad value and depth to your profile.
HEC is very particular about the GMAT score and i would suggest aiming a score above 700.
Apart from that you really need to submit well rounded essays and LOR's, as GMAT is just the tip of the iceberg.
