Graduated in 2020 with a bachelor's degree in CSE. My CGPA is 6.96

I have GRE score of 331(162-V, 169-Q) and IELTS - 7.0(minimum - 6.5)

I was a summer intern at local company for 1 month which has gained a knowledge on software language- python.

I've been working since 2021 April and I've been recently promoted to L2 position.

I volunteered for a TedX event. Was a member of college orientation and graduation team.

I want to get a job in my specialized course and settle there.

I prefer UK Univerisities for MiM. I've my profile ready, but I would like an evaluation before applying . I am aiming for 2023 September intake. I've 4 LOR's in total(3 are academic, 1 is professional). My SOP is ready.
My First choice are: Imperial, Kings, Manchester
Second Choice are: UCL, Greenwich, Edinburgh

Hey VMadhavi,

Let me begin by mentioning that you have good GRE and IELTS scores of 331 and 7 Band. But, your GPA of 6.96, is a bit on the lower end might be a hurdle in targeting some top schools in the UK.

However, your internship experience, specifically if it is international and in a technical domain, can be highlighted to show efficiency improvements and business impact. Also, you can highlight any specific numbers and details from any extracurricular events you have organised. You can emphasise any business-related courses you have taken and focus on highlighting two references, one academic and one professional.

For your Statement of Purpose (SOP), tailor it to each school you are applying to by addressing the specific questions they ask on their website. Schools like LBS, CASS, Warwick, Manchester, and Edinburgh are more suitable targets for you given your GRE score. However, schools like Imperial, Kings, and UCL may not be suitable due to their GPA requirements.
