Hi,
I have a question regarding MIM,MIF, MSC programs in France and other schools in Europe or States.
I am from Kazakhstan and last year I have graduated from Korea University, which is the top business school in Korea.Due to personal difficulties and problems I had low GPA. I went on exchange to ISC Paris Business School(not so famous though) and had a pretty good GPA there.I did several internships in finance and accounting, followed by my current position as an overseas business developer in Korean Company
I have tried to pass GMAT two times already.But since I am working full time, I dont have plenty of time to study for GMAT.Last year without any prep I got 420, this year I got 490.I am planning to push my test date to April, though I am not sure if my performance would improve dramatically.
I was planning to apply to HEC(MIM or MIF), Dauphine(Masters 203), ESSEC /EDHEC(MIM), Goethe University(Quantitative Finance), Vienna University of Economics and Business (Quantitative Finance).How good are my chances to get there?Also, please, advise a good school in Canada and States where I could apply with my profile.
P.S I am looking for Stem visa-qualifying programs in States.

490 may be a bit too low to aspire for HEC, ESSEC, and EDHEC. You will need to either enhance your score, or look at options such as IESEG and Grenoble (in France), Warwick and City (UK), and NUS (Singapore) that do not require test scores. Most decent schools in the US will require a GMAT score, and a higher one (650+) on that.

Overall you have a decent profile with a good set of internship experiences and full-time work experience, the only dampening factors would be the low GPA and GMAT scores,
Coming to the universities you are targeting, they are mostly in the competitive-dream category, I would suggest you should take a retake and aim for a 680+ GMAT score as that would be ideal for schools such as HEC and ESSEC, as for the other schools, they are comparatively lower ranked than these two and you can apply to them with a score of 650+ as well.
Your chances at your mentioned schools would ideally depend upon the GMAT scores and how you showcase your profile, why you want to pursue the program by writing strong essays/SOP in the application and having good LORs.
To understand which schools you can target we would need to dig a bit deeper into your profile, however here is a tentative list of schools you can target based on the information you have given:
1)Babson
2)UT Dallas
3)Duke
4)University of Virginia
5)IVEY
6)HEC Montreal
7)Schulich
UT Dallas and University of Virginia are STEM qualified courses for MiM, however, if you are interested in STEM visa qualifying courses you can explore courses such as Masters in Business Analytics and Masters in engineering management.
