Hello,
Need some help with my prospects for pursuing MIM from one of the top colleges this year.
Profile -
1) Basic Info - Male, Indian, Mechatronics Engineer, Manipal University
2) Work ex (3 internships - 1 international)
A) Amazon India - 6 months - Area manager
B) RB Kolubara - Govt of Serbia - 2 months - Engineering Intern
C) Parle Products - 1 month - Engineering Intern
3) Undergrad Cgpa - 9.2/10 - Rank 2
4) Extra curriculars
- Head of a student run college organization, have conducted various technical and cultural events. Have also participated in a few of them.
- 2 months of professional music production course
- Play guitar as a hobby and have performed in college
5) GMAT - 590 - Q43 V28 IR-7 .
This is the most embarrassing part for me as I really messed up my exam by panicking during the exam.
I was scoring 650 in the mocks, around Q46+ and V32, but the real GMAT got the best of me.
Would it be possible to get into the top 5 MIM programs with this profile?
I might give the GMAT again if it wouldn't work without doing so.
Anyways would also want to know my prospects with this profile in Canada and Australia.
Thankyou.

Hi
hgoel601,
So for Canada and Australia, I would say your chances are pretty good for the Top 5 programs.
Mainly because the prominent schools in both of these countries do not mandatorily need GMAT, and the rest of your profile is pretty strong.
Canadian schools require a 4 year degree, and some top schools need a non-business UG as well so your profile fits here as well.
So for the top schools in both the nations - You can look at ANU,MBS, Ivey, York,UBC
We have helped about 1800+ applicants get into the top 10 schools across the major countries through our flagship all-in-one service (We have a 92% success rate with this).
