Hi alberto14,
Thanks for sharing your profile with us!
Your academic credentials (undergraduate record and GMAT score) are competitive for the schools that you're considering, so that's a great start. My two biggest questions for you to consider as you contemplate applying to these MBA programs are:
(1) What are your post-MBA goals, both short-term (up to 5 years post-MBA) and longer-term (10+ years after business school)? You clearly have knowledge and skills in tennis, but do you see yourself working on the business side of the tennis circuit as a career? Or in sports management in general? If you picture yourself doing something entirely different, it's important that you be able to articulate what that is, what qualities and experience you have that show your potential to succeed in that field (see next comment below), and how an MBA from one of these top European schools will help you get there. Business schools make "investments" in the students that they admit -- they want to pick "winners" who will go on to become prominent alumni in different business fields. So you have to be able to paint a picture for the admissions committee of why you'll be a great "investment."
(2) Your profile will almost certainly be strengthened with at least 2-3 years of work experience post-university. A key part of the business school experience is networking with fellow students who have diverse professional backgrounds, so you must ask yourself what you'll be able to bring to the table in that sense. Related to the first comment above, what work experience can you amass in the next couple years that will best position you for your post-MBA career goals? If you want to continue to work in the tennis field, what job(s) can you take before business school that will deepen your exposure to the business side of the sport? If you want to work in a completely different industry, what job can you secure that will give you an introduction to that field?
I hope that's helpful! We at
