Hi, I'm wondering if I want to achieve total GMAT score above 600 (it doesn't have to be greater than 650):
1. What would be the combinations of the safe minimum Quant and Verbal correct answers?
2. What would be the combinations of the safe minimum Quant and Verbal scores?
Thanks so much for the information!
Hi stewartlife,
The number of correct answers for a score could vary greatly. Even after getting 5-6 questions incorrect in each of the sections one can get a perfect score of 800.
To have an idea about where and which questions can give you a better score, have a look at the GMATPrep software analysis and testing scenarios (link in my signature)
A score of Q47, V27 will give youa score of around 600. This score is more dominated my the quant score. For 600 a verbal dominated score will be Q37, V37.
Other possible combinations could be: Q45, V29;
Q49,V25;
Q42,V32;
Q34,V40
For a score of 650 you can distribute 5 points in the above scores.
Hope this helps,
Vercules
