helloo everybody .... first of all let me say that this forum is GREAT and all of your are SOOOOOO GREAT!!!!
SO many usuful things can be found here.... i am very very proud to be the member of this community.... and see your posts guys! THANK YOU EVERYBODY !!! AND THANK YOU GMATCLUB !!!!!
i am writing my post in hope to find some kind of solution or at least an advice to my problem
i am having trouble with math but it is not about concepts themselves. No matter
how much i try to concentrate during tests usually 2-3 (even four)mistakes are because of my mis-reading. for ex:
i may read "seven" instead of "even" etc..... Is not it silly? i can not understand how this happens. i am sure i am strong in math when not timed. somth. is happaning to me whenever the timed one starts. the strange thing is i feel rather calm, almost no stressed during the test. Then whats happening ????
later, when re-doing my incorrect problems (before seeing solutions), moslty all of them i am solving easily and correctly. so whats my problem ? concentration? if so, does anyone have any adivce how to improve one????
i am reaaaaally desperate ..... not solving problems despite knowing concepts(( and making sillyyyyy mistakes...

Hi!
I had similar problems with silly mistakes and often skipped "distinctive", "even" and so on. So, what I did:
- read the question 2 times and very SLOWLY.
- read it again before submitting my answer.

Try to make sure that you are mentally fresh and physically comfortable when practicing with the OG or GMATPrep software. Eat something light during the breaks to maintain energy levels. When you're tired, simple mistakes are very easy to make. Also, close your eyes or look away from the computer screen for a short moment in between questions. This reduces eye strain.
I also relied on the GMATClub tests to sharpen my quant skills. I became very, very careful and aware while reading the question stem after these tests.
