MISM@CMU vs Tech MBA @ NYU Stern

Question

Hi all,

Need inputs on what is better MISM @CMU or Tech MBA @ NYU Stern.

What are the prospects after completing the course?

I already have an General MBA from an Indian B-School with 9 years of experience in PreSales and Business Development in IT.

Looking for a one year program in the US. Planning to apply to 2023 Batches.

Any thoughts.

Generally, the Tech MBA would be better, as it is an MBA program, and in NYC. Also, with 9+ years of experience, you are already on the higher side of experience. If you apply to the Class of 2023, you may have too much experience to be considered for many full-time MBA programs.

So it is a good idea to mail the school beforehand to know the eligibility criteria.

Alternatively, you can also keep the Executive MBA as an option.
