I think that MIT will open more doors, but I would choose Stern. A full scholarship is not a few bucks and both schools will give you great opportunities.

Tough decision here. The South is not a really popular option from either school (although that's where I'll be heading). I'm not too familiar with the real estate offerings at either program, unfortunately. For what it's worth, you're grossly overestimating what you'd be able to make as a TA. Realistically, you're going to be more at 20K and that is if you're really hustling to max out your TA opportunities both semesters of your second year.

Thanks to you both for your input. Falcon, an admissions ambassador who was a TA told me (and others on the tour) she earned 17K a semester in tuition reimbursement by serving as a TA. I am sad to hear that that is not the case. Do you know how much RAs make? How difficult is it to secure these jobs? I appreciate any information you have. Feel free to send me a PM.
