Two vessels A and B contain mixture of milk and water in the ratio of 4:1 and 9:1 respectivel. They are mixed in the ratio of 3:2.Find the ratio of milk and water in the final ratio

Posted from my mobile device

Milk in vessel A = 4/5 = .8
Milk in vessel B = 9/10 = .9

Milk in mixture in the ratio 3:2 = (3*.8 + 2*.9) / 5 = (2.4+1.8)/5 = 4.2/5 = .84 = 84/100 = 21/25
Ratio of milk and water in final ratio = 21:4

Hope it solves your query
