Sajjad1994 Would appreciate some help on this one if you wouldn't mind. Here's what I did, what am I doing incorrectly?
(m) min/mile -> (1/m) mile/min x (60min/1 hour) = (60/m) mile/hour.......OA says (xm/60)
Let's use real numbers....if I run 6 min/mile pace (m) and run 10 miles (x), I complete it in 60min or 1 hour.....(xm/60) I am getting units of hours not mph
If I am correct, then I get (xm/60) hours to complete x mile race
---> (60/m) miles/hour -> (m/60) hour/mile x (x) mi = (xm/60) hours.....OA says (60m/x) which is units of min/mile squared

Official Explanation
As this problem exemplifies, many Two-Part Analysis problems are simply GMAT quantitative problems with the Two-Part format twist. And when Problem Solving questions feature "undone math" (expressions with the variables still in them) in the answer choices, you can often simply pick numbers to avoid the algebra and test the answer choices on your own.
Here the "tricky part" is that you're given Mo's rate in minutes per mile but then asked about miles per hour and the number of hours that it takes him to finish a race. So if you're picking numbers, you'll want to pick a number that easily converts from minutes per mile to miles per hour. For that reason, you might choose \(m=10\) so that if it takes him 10 minutes to run a mile, he'll run 6 miles in an hour.
If you then assess the answer choices, you'll see that plugging \(m=10\) into the answer choices only yields a correct answer of 6 miles per hour when you plug it into choice (C), \(\frac{60}{m}.\)
To then assess the second column, again try to pick easy numbers to work with. Since you know that Mo runs 6 miles per hour with your \(m=10\) choice, you'll want to pick a number of miles that will cleanly work with 6 miles per hour. If you then say that \(x=12\), you'll know that at 6 miles per hour to run 12 miles will take 2 hours. So as you plug in \(m=10, x=12\) you're looking for the answer 2.
As you plug these in, you'll see that only choice (D) yields 2. \(\frac{xm}{60}\) becomes \(\frac{(10)(12)}{60} = \frac{120}{60} = 2,\) so choice (D) is the correct response for that column.
