Hey lovely community,
hope you're spending nice holidays! Selina here! BSc Grad preparing for MiM applications, programs commencing in Fall 2020.
A few words about my situation: I need a 700+ score for MiM applications. I started preparing loosely in late October (e.g. brief Quant review for 5hours peer week). Started preparing full-time 3 weeks ago. In the meantime, I took a few mock exams from varying providers and the results are extremely wide-spread:
31 October 2019:
Manhattan Prep CAT 1: 540, Q39, Q27 (diagnostic)
1 December 2019:
The Economist / Mannheim Business School Mini Test: 710-740 (Q49-50, V40-43)
8 December 2019:
Manhattan Prep CAT 2: 620, Q42, V33
15 December 2019:
The Economist / Mannheim Business School Full Test: 730-770 (Q50-53, V41-45)
20 December 2019:
Manhattan Prep CAT 3: 640, Q42, V35
22 December 2019:
Manhattan Prep CAT 4: 630, Q42, V34
25 December 2019:
OG Official Practice Exam 2: 680, Q50, V32
I know, my prep time for GMAT is probably very very short. However, what would you recommend on doing in the last few days? My exam is scheduled for 30 December and unfortunately, I cannot push back the date any further. :/ And I am really confused about the different mock exams, as I really don't know where I stand. How come my quant score is constantly 42 in
Manhattan Prep but 50 in the
OG one? And what to do about the low V32?
What would you recommend to get somewhat closer to 700+?
The materials I used:
-
Manhattan Prep All the Quant / Verbals + Companion
- GMAT Math Bible
-
OG Questions
-
OG Advanced Questions
- I also bought the Powerscore CR Bible, but probs don't have enough time to work through the whole thing.
For the last few days, I think I will try to review as many math problems as possible and maybe improve some verbal strategy? Any last tips?
Any advice is greatly appreciated!
Many thanks
Selina
