Hi cantaffordname,

thanks for your advice! Yes, I took all the mocks under exam conditions. Based on your advice, I took another OG Practice Exam (Number 3 from the second package) and today I got a 710 (Q48, V40). I guess I won't do any more mocks until my exam on 30 December. However, I am so confused about the big gaps between my V40 today and V32 yesterday. Any last advice?

Many thanks!
Selina

Selina,

That's really good score. GMAC says you will get +-30 points from your GMAT prep exam. I would suggest you to chill and just review your notes. :)

All the best.

Regarding manhattan quant, it's slightly difficult.

I keep reading this but I did a Manhattan CAT and a GMATPrep only three days apart, my Manhattan score was 620 (Q40 V35) but my GMATPrep was only 530 (Q32 V32). What is wrong with me?

Review what Verbal questions you got correct and incorrect. Compare them with your other CATs. You might find that there is a certain type of question (for example SC - parallelism) that you are continuously getting wrong. If you can pin point your weakness, you can work to improve it.

Hi Selina,

I’m glad you reached out, and I’m happy to help. Since your exam is only 4 days away, you should try to relax. If you must do something, do some light studying, such as focused practice and review of flash cards/notes from past topics to ensure that knowledge has not slipped through the cracks. Also, try to keep busy with activities other than GMAT prep: go out to dinner, go to the movies, binge-watch Netflix, go for a run … Do whatever you have to so you don’t spend the days leading up to your exam worrying about how things will go.

You also may find it helpful to read this article with more advice on how to treat the final week leading up to your exam as well as some test day tips.

Keep up the positive thoughts, try to relax, and crush the test!! Let me know how things turn out.
