my first mock test i gave, i scored a 540 (Q48 V20). i took another test today (after about 10-12 days) and scored a 610 (Q49 V24). my exam is in less than 3 weeks.
as you can see, i'm struggling in Verbal. i made 8 RC errors out of the total 18 errors in verbal.
what should i do? i have 1000 SC/CR/RC should i solve those? till now i've completed the manhattan series for verbal prep and practised questions from OG12. how do i up my score?! please advise !!

When you worked out the OG questions did you use an error log ? i.e. did you track all the questions that you got wrong ? You MUST Review each question properly . Don't do questions just for the heck of finishing them . Try to learn why you're making mistakes .
A verbal score of 24 indicates that your time management is bad or that you are a bit weak in all 3 sections . Do you do all your practice questions with a stopwatch ? This is very important , there is no point in getting a question right if it's going to take you 5 minutes to do the questions !
For CR and RC , the OG questions are more than enough . For SC you might need to do a bit more than the OG , but considering your time constraints I'd say just review all your mistakes in the OG and do the GMAT prep question pack 1 .

like i said, out of 18, i made 8 errors in RC. rest 10 were spread over SC and CR.
i feel that i've improved in SC and CR. i get answers right while practise but i still get a low score in the mock test.
yes, i have been marking the questions that i get wrong. i make a mark next to each question that i solve incorrectly, have a trouble getting an answer or which i dont understand completely.
even in RC, i've solved 50 questions (not RC) of the OG. i've been doing well there but i think it's during a mock test that i am unable to concentrate. i lose concentration easily by the time i reach the verbal section in the test.
