ii ) singular/plural - subj verb agreement

A. Conveys that price increase has been responsible for x,y,z as opposed to stating that the price increase has been the reason or cause. 'any other' is required I think.


how can a price increase be "responsible" for something ? Shudn't price increase be a "reason" for something ?
