Hi Friends,
I am considering retaking the GMAT because my verbal score was a meager 32, although I still managed a 680. On my two MGMAT tests prior to the actual exam, I scored 41V. I even took another MGMAT practice test on Sunday (without having studied in 3 weeks) and scored 40V.
Is MGMAT close with their scoring on the verbal section? I know I'm going to be around 47/48 on the quant, but it only makes sense to retake if I can score 37+ on the verbal section.
What software/resource has the best predictor of score for verbal section? Perhaps I'm really scoring in the 35 range and MGMAT isn't scaled properly. Or perhaps I just bombed it on the test day. If it's the latter, I'm comfortable with a retake. If I'm really only about a 35, it's not worth the risk for me.

I recommend taking GMAT paper tests which you can purchase on mba.com. Based on my experience, the scores you get (both verbal and quant) will be extremely close to what you will get on the actual test.
