Hi all
I've read that some MBA are really requiring in terms of analytical skills and workload per course, whereas others are really "soft" with them.
For example, I heard that Booth is quite demanding in terms of quantitative, or Harvard in terms of homework.
Other ones as LBS are "easy" and you "build" your mba by networking, extracurricular groups and leadership skills.
Is that true? I'd like to use the mba as a career switcher and actually get a good base in analytical skills to develop a career in data science roles.
Speaking for LBS, the coursework can be very quantitative and analytical, depending on which track/courses you select. Most of the classes I took, even though strategy-based, still required a decent amount of analyses and modeling in order to deliver a robust assignment. It might be worth checking which electives are offered to see if it matches your goals in data science.
