Dear all,
I have been a regular follower of GMAT forum and indeed have benefited from it.
Today I took my first GMAT and got 640 (Q 44, V 34)
Screwed up big time on quant. Kind of hate myself. Also my test centre made me run for an hour unnecessarily through thick of the traffic before the start of exam, triggering bad day. Uggghhhhhh.....
Before I only took 2 GMAT prep tests and scored 720 & 710. Quant was 49 in both. But today I screwed up with 44.
Initially took longer time and in need to catch up screwed middle part.
Need motivation from you guys, seriously. Can someone advice as how early should I reattempt ? Also if I want to stop my scores being sent to schools since I haven't scored per my expectations ?

Don't stress too much about it. It sounds like it was just an off day & you've been scoring a lot higher on practice tests, so you have a good chance at a stronger score next time. And schools really will take the highest test score & not penalize you for lower ones. So take a deep breath & just give it another shot! Do your best to get the GMAT out of the way by May so you can hit the ground running when most of the prompts are out in June/July. You can do it!
