IMO E

For determining the average price of ticket sold,we need to know both the total number of tickets sold and also the total price.

Statement (1)- from this we can only know the average price of tickets sold during first half of the year.we don't know the number of tickets sold during the year.hence insufficient

Statement(2)- same as st.1 no info. On the total number of tickets sold.hence insuff.

Combining we know the diff.average price of tickets sold during first half and second half of the year but we don't know the number of tickets sold during each half.hence average price can be different.thus insufficient

Average price of tickets is given but number of tickets is still unknown
