Mr. Hock wanted to buy a car. He had shortlisted 15 cars. What percentage of cars shortlisted by Mr. Hock had power windows and luxury appliances both?
(1) There were only 5 cars out of the cars shortlisted by him with power windows.
(2) Each car having luxury appliances had power windows as well.

The metrics would be something like this -
we need to find the A/W cell value and its % of 15.
Statement A -
Total W = 5. Thus,
Doesn't prove anything. Not enough.
Statement B -
"Each car having luxury appliances had power windows as well." - meaning each A had W and no NW
Not enough.
Combining both -
Gives,
\(5-x+10=15-x\)
no solution.
We need more info. Thus OPTION E. Hopefully not missing any clue.

So the number of cars with both power windows and luxury appliances = the number of cars with luxury appliances.
But we still do not know that number (it could be 0 to 5).
Hence, even with both statements, we cannot find the exact percentage.
We can only say it’s somewhere between 0% and (5/15 ×100)=33.3%.
