in 45 years, the consistency has been the same. How would someone know is that was the best possible consistency..only if they varied it to see. B tell us the flaw.

Mrs. Su is an avid baker. She is especially proud of her light, fluffy angelfood cake. She always bakes these cakes before 8 am. in order to guarantee that they reach the desired degree of lightness and fluffiness. She says, ' I have been baking my angelfood cakes for over 45 years and I have never put one in the oven one minute past eight in the morning' Her angelfood cakes are consistently perfect.

What is the basic flaw in Mrs. Su's logic?

A. The time of day a cake is baked is important only at some attitudes
B. She has never varied her method so she has no basis of comparison
C. Angelfood caked baked with natural ingredients are usually lighter and fluffier than those made with artificial ingredients
D. It is well known that cakes baked in the afternoon are lighter and fluffier than cakes baked in the morning
E. The oven temperature is a critical variable in all baking

B it is.

How can she conclusively deteremine the cakes to be perfect if she has never compared them to a different baking procedure or combination of procedures?
