Hi all. GMAT Club is awesome for MBA discussions, and this section is available for MSc, MiM, MiF. Can anybody point me to a similar site or thread for Master of Accounting discussions, school comparisons, etc.? Accounting posts here appear to scattered and old. Apologies in advance if it's here and I haven't found it yet. Thanks.

Good question! Seems like we need to start some thing specific for accounting. I am not familiar with a lot of other forums or sites focusing on accounting or MS applications to accounting programs 😢

Narenn - maybe you can help put a topic together?

Thank you! It's true that currently GMAT Club's Masters section focuses mainly on MiM & MiF programs, we do want to expand our outreach & have discussions on some good Masters in Accounting & Masters in Public Policy programs. I've just written a post containing basic information of MAcc degree, top programs here. Very soon we will have dedicated discussions for top MAcc programs. You are welcome to contribute and help us in this initiative.

Are you applying this year by the way? Mind telling us which programs do you have in mind?

The accounting departments/programs are normally part of the same business schools as MBA's, so it makes sense to add them to GMAT Club.

Your post is awesome, but, for the casual new gmatclub reader, it isn't easy to find nor obvious accounting is included in the "Masters Programs" section. Maybe also consider changing the entire section name from "Masters Programs (MSc, MiM, MiF)" to "Masters Programs (Accounting, MSc, MiM, MiF)". Many accounting programs do not call their degrees "MAcc", so listing all the different abbreviations may be burdensome.
