Thanks for the input Billionaire.
I understand your caviar and it may be correct. My expectation is 710 with moderate preparation.
Among the aforementioned programs is there any which paves the way to IB?
If not, then where should I look and with what GMAT score will the admission be possible in those programs?
Thanks a lot for your time.

Hi midoriya

All top programs that I mention, would pave way to IB or any other Finance related field.

For GMAT scores of accepted students, you should visit every program page individually, here is example :

MIT GMAT Range from 700-760

https://mitsloan.mit.edu/mfin/apply/class-profile

Berkeley average Quant percentile 92.3

https://mfe.haas.berkeley.edu/admissions/class-profile

Princeton average quantitative GMAT scores are 49.5 or 95%

https://bcf.princeton.edu/master-in-finance/admission/

Carnegie Mellon University, average GMAT 750 :geek:

Good luck

Hey midoriya,

GPA and college rank look good, you can do more on the work ex. side.
As you will be competing with a lot of applicants with a more extensive experience in finance, try to take up an internship/job in the core finance field before the application.
In this context, you need to showcase activities that prompted you to think of a long term career in Finance as you will need to justify the shift from technology to Finance. This can be done via internships/jobs, an extra-curricular activity (Eg. Being the finance head at your university club),etc.
With the 690+ GMAT and a strong application, you do have a fair shot in the top 30 MFin schools.
EDHEC, IE, Lisbon school of business are a few options you can look at
Depending upon your country and language preferences you can expand on your target list of schools.
Check out this resource on the Top 30 MFin Schools, this page has interesting data on the program, placement statistics and average salary of the top 30 MFin schools
