Ms. or First Name in Interview Thank You?

Question

I had an admissions interview this afternoon and it went very well. More conversational than anything. However, I am not sure whether I should address the interviewer as Ms. or by her first name in my thank you letter. Ms seems more polite to me, but...everyone is so PC these days what if it came off as offensive? But going by the first name right out of the box seems too informal.

1) Culture differs from School to School AND region to region
2) The content of your email would matter FAR MORE than the small courtesies. Either of your choices is not a blooper, and is commonly used. 
3) As a rule of thumb, when in doubt, MORE courtesy is better than less. However, don't come off as fake and sycophantic

I think that when in doubt- go extra polite. It will be fine to say Ms. Jones....
I agree that most importantly do thank her as soon as possible and try to reference something from the interview and add an insight that helps demonstrate why you want THIS program. Best wishes!
