Tpongiluppi
Good afternoon to everyone,
I am currently enrolled in my third year of my Bachelor’s and planning to apply for both the MSc Finance program of Bocconi and the MiM program of ESCP.
Few questions:
I have a 28/30 Italian GPA, that converted to the American one is 3.92/4.
I also have a 329 score on GRE that I obtained yesterday, 161V and 168Q.
Do you think I could enter both programs if I apply for the first selection? (Ends in 10 days).
Given the theoretical possibility that I am accepted in both, what do you think is the best choice if I want to work in Finance? For example PE, HF, IB and so on...
Is it easier to land top roles from which of the two?
Thanks

Tpongiluppi,
Your Italian GPA of 28/30 (equivalent to 3.92/4.00 in the US) demonstrates a strong academic foundation. Your GRE score of 329, with a Verbal score of 161 and a Quantitative score of 168, is competitive for both programs. Given the tight deadline of 10 days for the first selection, it's important to act quickly. Ensure your application materials are complete and well-prepared.
Both Bocconi's MSc Finance and ESCP's MiM are highly regarded programs, and your profile suggests you have a good chance of being admitted to both. Ultimately, your ability to land a top role in finance will depend on a combination of factors, including your academic performance, work experience, networking, and specific job market conditions. Both Bocconi and ESCP have strong alumni networks and career services that can help you connect with potential employers.
