Hi everyone, I planing to apply for B-schools in 2019 for Masters in Finance 
Nationality: Indian 
GMAT-750
Degrees: 
1.B.Sc from B.H.U Varanasi 
CGPA: 6.3/10

2. M.Sc from Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi
CGPA: 8.9/10

3. M.Tech from IIIT Hyderabad
CGPA: 7.4/10

Fellowships:
1.SURGE fellowship from IIT Kanpur
2.GATE fellowship

Work ex=0

Internship:Working in an NGO for 2 months now

Leadership role in college:
Class Representative during M.Sc

Online courses done:
2 Coursera courses in finance and trading

College wanted to apply:Mcgill,HEC Montreal,ESADE,Kelley,cornell,HEC Paris,LSE

You have a GMAT 750! First of all, congratulations on that. I dont get the point why are you considering mc gill & HEC montreal with such a score & background ESADE is fine, HEC paris & cornell is good . Rotman is ranked one business school in canada & is top school for finance so that's one option you shouldn't miss on. You might want to consider LBS, Oxford( said), MIT sloan UCLA, USC marshall, texas mccombs as all these excel in finance. Goodluck

First of all thank you for replying. The main problem with my profile what I think is low undergrad CGPA of 6.3 which is not even first class.Due to this I thought highly ranked program will reject me. But your rely has encouraged me to apply for some more highly ranked program.

That alone should secure you admission/interview at some of the schools on your list, since you are way above average for their usually admitted students.

LSE and Cornell are very good choice, they would be mine also

Is there any reason why you are targeting French speaking environments ? (Montreal, Paris ) Your undergraduate GPA doesn't count that much since you have advanced/master degrees after that, that will be primary focus of admission committee, so dont stress much about it. Moreover you have upward trend in GPA, from undergrad to master, which is good sign and exactly what they want to see. Yes 'billionaire' you are right I am a bit biased towards french speaking environment due to HEC Paris being my dream school. American schools are a bit expensive for me without scholarship. That's why I am more focused towards European and some Canadian programs. I will incorporate your suggestions in my list. And in the end I would like to thank you and gmatclub forum to guide me in making appropriate decision.

You definitely have a great GMAT score, as others have said. I think the thing that will get you over the hump & give you a shot at some of the highest ranked programs (along with ensuring that undergrad GPA is a non-issue) will be the strength of your essays & your LORs. At the end of the day, scores & GPA matter but the way to differentiate yourself from others who have equally high scores is to write some strong essays that convincingly talk about why you need this degree, what you plan to do with it, and why that school is the perfect fit for you. The fact that you have existing masters degrees will make it even more critical that you tell a convincing story in your essays since the adcom can tend to be a bit wary of applicants who look like "career students." That argument rests on your career goals so you want to make sure those are strong & specific, naming your target title in the ST & LT, your 2-3 target companies (and why these are your targets), what you plan to accomplish in those goals, and WHY this is your passion. Assuming strong essays & LORs, I think you definitely have a good shot at top ranked schools! Good luck to you!
