Hi,
I am currently a BSc in Finance student and have recieved offers from Cass Business School, Edinburgh Business School, Lancaster University, Strathclyde Business School and Cranfield School of Management. All of the offers are for a MSc in Finance except from Cranfield which is an MSc in Finance and Management.
According to the Financial Times 2018 world Pre-experience MSc in Finance ranking they are ranked as below:
Cass: 20
Lancaster: 29
Cranfield: 32
Edinburgh: 37
Durham: 51
Strathclyde: 55
However, looking at placements at LinkedIn I would rank them as the following:
Cass
Edinburgh
Durham
Lancaster
Strathclyde
Cranfield
What would you say, how would you rank the programmes? My short-term goal is to pursue a career within Corporate Finance, Investment banking ( ECM, DCM or M&A).
Note: I know that these are non-target schools, and please do not recommend me to apply for other schools since my GPA of 3.6/4 will not allow me to pursue a masters elsewhere. Also, I won't do the GMAT since I am currently pursuing a BSC and working 75% and therefore simply cannot find the time to study for it. I've also applied for Warwick, but I do not think I will get an offer.
Kind regards, HHSinc
