Hello!
Honestly, I'm a bit confused about applying to Master's degree in Management (University of Manitoba, Asper School of business), so i'm looking for advise.
I graduated from Czech University of Life Science in Prague this year. My major was Economic and Management (Program taught in English). GPA is 1.7 out of 4. Thesis "Statistical analysis of economic indicators of farm economy", defended(grade 1 - excellent). As far as I know, most universities of Canada require GPA of last two year of study and U of M is not the exception. So my GPA of last two years of study is 1.5 out of 4. Converting it two canadian system, it will be 3.5/4, right? Or am I wrong?
Also I'm currently preparing for iELTS, which will be taken in the end of August and GMAT(planning to pass it in december). I'm confident in my abilities to pass ielts successfully, so i'm not worrying about this a lot. Also I took mock gmat recently, where I scored 650(planning to score 680+).
In case, I will be successful in both exams, what are my chances to be accepted? Btw, i'm in good relationship with professors, so I will have good recommendation letters.
I would like to apologize for dumb question, but i'm just not sure whether should I apply or not because in my opinion I have really low GPA. The world is so competitive nowadays..
Thank you in advance for your answers!
