Hi all!
I know that most of you are interested in MBA programmes, but I would be grateful if you could help me in selecting the appropriate b-school for Msc in Management. I'm a little bit confused about it and I hope you can give me some advice.
As for me, I'm 21, and I have just graduated from BA in International Business with a GPA of 5.0. I will take my GMAT and TOEFL exams in January and I'm fluent in English and can also speak German and Spanish. Regarding extrac. actitivites I had been the president of a student organization for a year, and now I have been working at Big4 company as a business consultant for half a year.
I would like to apply for the following universities:
1.) St. Gallen - Strategy in International Management - Actually it is my preference on the list, although I've heard that it is quite difficult the get admission to this programme. If you have any information about the MSc programme at St. Gallen besides the MBA programme, I would be grateful if you could share it!
2.) RSM - CEMS International Management - I find it quite attracting as well, because with this programme I can have a double degree and also spend a semester at universities like ESADE, LSE, NUS etc. On the other hand I don't know about the career prospectives with a diploma like this. I would like to get a job in the strategy consultancy industry.
3.) Wirtschaftuniversität Wien - It is my B-plan, there is an opportunity to go to CEMS programme from here too.
As you can see, LBS and HEC are not on my list. I was thinking about them a lot, but actually I find them too expensive for Master programmes. The programmes above (St. Gallen, RSM, WU) are almost free, and based on school reports, the avg. starting salaries are almost the same as on LBS or HEC too. On the other hand I would like to get an MBA after 4-5 years of work exp., and I think it will be enough to go to a top-tier university when I will do my MBA. What do you think about that?
I would be grateful if you could give me any feedback, support or advice about which Msc in Management programme I should choose or about any other tips!
