Hi,
I have got MSF admission to 2 schools - OSU Fisher(9months) and Brandeis International(16 months). I have also got 20% funding from OSU.
Could someone please help me by sharing their opinion about which one is better?
I am very confused as OSU has got a very good brand name..

In the US, OSU is the "better" program. I use parenthesis because better is in terms of job placements. Brandeis might be a better fit for you because of the increased duration of the program and the proximity to Boston. If the 9 month nature of the program isn't an issue, I would recommend OSU. You are getting a decent scholarship from the school, it has national recognition, lots of firms come on campus to recruit and I would have to imagine living on campus is cheaper than Brandeis. I'd also imagine it is a better fit for an international student as there will be a massive student body.

I had a few more doubts, it would be helpful if you could please answer these:
1. Would 9months be enough to find a job?
2. Brandeis has been ranked at 10th in 2016 tfetimes ranking while OSU is at 17th. Does it make a lot of difference?
3. Brandeis has internship also included in its curriculum. Would that help me given that I want to get into financial services?
4. Brandeis is costing me double of OSU's MSF program. I am not sure if that would justify the value I would get from Brandeis (bcz of location, internship & 16m course duration)
5. Brandeis program would get over by December whereas OSU will get over by March. Would it be a challenge to find jobs in December?
It has been a very difficult decision for me. Location and internship wise I found Brandeis a better bet. But cost is really high when compared to OSU. Another issue is Brandeis do not publish their placement stats.
