Most MSF programs will take the GRE, even if they do not advertise it. In fact I believe all the schools take the GRE (Vandy, Villanova, WUSTL, and OSU for sure). I would try and boost the GRE, but I think you'll get into Northeastern and Rochester as it stands. The other schools, probably not.

I'll take my chances, Its the only option that's viable at the moment. I'd hope I get into Ohio state.
Thanks and Cheers!

I have a GRE score of 314 (Q163 V151),GPA 3.01.TOEFL 97.
I am taking GMAT on 16.12.2015.I have contacted admission dept of some schools and came to know that they convert GRE to GMAT.Converting the 314 to GMAT standards its around 610.I have gone through the average(mid 80%) class profile of WUIL ,Rochester. I started with Ms Finance but after knowing that it is not STEM designated narrowed down my options to ms fin only in rochester or olin and chose Business analytics. Please suggest me some universities for Business analytics.

MSFHQ,
I wanted to know about the Villanova MSF, Does it start in spring(I am doing my undergrad that gets over on July 2016) ? Also how is Fordham MSF in terms of placements?
Right now I have applied to the following colleges-
Olin Business School
Boston College
Simon Business School
Fisher College of Business
UIUC
Vanderbilt
I plan on applying to two more colleges ,which ones do you recommend with Placements in mind?
My profile -
Indian B.Tech student
GPA-3.4
GRE-313 (Verbal-156 quant - 157)
TOEFL-108
Had only a month of internship experience(But in my core field) .
I have a strong proficiency in english and also have good communication skills.
Thank You .

A lot of schools have this degree now. I believe Notre Dame has one, so does JHU. NYU, USC, Arizona State, etc. I'd say with your stats you are going to want to look at the 2nd tier type schools. A bunch of programs with good brand names and placement histories should have an interest in your application though. All is not lost!

Villanova starts in May I believe. I think Fordham is a good school and has a ton of alumni in NYC, but I don't think their MSF program is operated like some of the others (with a focus on placements). Their quant program is apparently pretty good, but I am not a MFE expert.

I think you have a good profile, but not a great profile. Olin and Vandy might be tough, but Rochester, Illinois and OSU are all within reason.

Hello Guys,

I would appreciate if someone evaluates my profile for MS in Finance in US universities,

I have done MBA from Mumbai University (India) with 68% marks (Tier II B school), 5 Years of Work experience in corporate finance profile in a bank ( Bank owned by Government of India). Recently appeared for GRE and scored poorly ( V 146 Q 152 AWA -3 ). Please suggest some safe and reachable universities ( With sound Reputation/ Job Prospects).

Thank you :)
