UIUC.

I think Purdue has an interesting program and I want to learn more about it, but UIUC has a much more developed program.

hey...i have got an accept from uiuc too...have u paid the deposit?? Ne idea about the placement scene in uiuc?

If you don't mind, please tell me when did you get the MSF Purdue result?
Which round of deadline that you submitted your application??
Because I am still waiting for the result from Purdue. However, I also got an acceptance from MSF UIUC. Please share your opinion which school will you choose??

hey I gotta call from UIUC. Did you guys get an email stating the same. I had one query it says the decision is subject to the final approval of the graduate college. What does that mean? ANy idea?

even I gotta mail which said the same. I am guessing that they need to verify the documents and all to fully approve the admission. Did you mail Lorana Nicholas, Associate Director, MSF program

Yea even I am waiting to hear from some more colleges. God knows when they'll respond coz the deadline for the tuition deposit ofr uiuc is 6th april. And one has to pay $1000 to reserve the seat. I think once you pay up, there is no looking back. Anyway UIUC is quite good.

yep thoda bahut idea hai.. Still finding out the initial expenditure that I have to take into account, so that I have a fair idea of the figure. The tuition fees is approx. $45,000 & you can add another 18 for other expenditure during the year. i.e $ 63,000- total.

Hi...one of my biggest concerns abt d program is d placments as well..read sumwhr dt d international placements are worse only 2 inter students got offers last year...have u received any feedback about d placements?..please share...

got an admit at UIUC as well..
well i agree that recruitment at UIUC is a major concern...but in general recruitment in US for international students is a major concern in such times..unless of course one is in premier schools..
but the curriculum at UIUC is at par with industry standards..that is what i have heard from lot of people..so one could be well off with a help from networking..
