Tried solving this IR question, though my answers are different from mentioned OA. any pointers as to what i did wrong is appreciated
#of workers = 20
-------| Inventory --|-- Demand--|-- Work-Days --|-- Man-hour -----|---#of-hats-Produced--|---#of-RemainingHats-forNextMonth --|-- #of Hats sold
Jan | 50 | 300 | 22 | =22*8*20=3520 | =3520/10=352 | = 50+ 352 - 300 = 102 | 300
Feb | 102 | 500 | 19 | =19*8*20=3040 | =3040/10=304 | =102+304 - 500 = -146 | =102+304 =406
Q.1. Working with a team of 20 workers in hat production, the Mouse House will begin February with exactly 100 hats in inventory.
===> My answer is No, as based on my calculation its 102
Q.2. If the Mouse's House has only a team of 20 workers, it will fall more than 150 units short of expected demand in February.
===> My answer is No, as based on my calculation its -146
Q.3. Assuming that the price charged per hat remains the same, The Mouse House will earn more revenue from the sale of elephant hats in February than it will in January.
===>My answer is Yes, # of hats solds in January is 300, where as # of hats sold in February is 406
I got the same answers as yours. Exactly opposite of the OA. These questions are taken from Veritas Prep practice questions. Not sure if I am doing this wrong or the OA is wrong.
