Got a ding from McCombs MBA program.

They have mailed informing about other program called MSTC at McCombs itself. Do we have any souls out here who have given this course a thought or studying there currently? The course sounds good to me, but wanted to know how much value does this course hold in the market? Also, what are the kind of job opportunities one would aim for post this course?

I have mailed the school back with a questionnaire, but I guess no one is going to reply now until the New Year.

If anyone knows anybody who is associated with this course, please connect me with them.

Hold steady, a good friend of mine has recently graduated from McCombs undergrad program. I know that he considered some masters program there but not sure which one. He just got back in town so I will let you know when I talk to him.

hey,

I was able to talk to my friend about the MSTC program. Unfortunately, he has not even heard of it. This does not mean that that the program is not good itself as he looked only into MBA programs. He told me that he thinks it is not anything special unless you exactly know what you would want to do with it. I hoped I could have provided you with a better answer but this is all I have.

sounds like an one year masters program that's in between BBA and MBA. Just curious, do you happen to have less than average years of experience?

If so, I wouldn't jump straight into MSTC. There are a few other similar programs out there that are most established and more structured. Fuqua for one, offer's the MMS program. I believe LSE offers something similar in Europe.
