Hi Zaheerhasan,
From the face of it, you have a lot of positives in your profile that should make it possible for you to get admission in any of the Sloan fellowship programs. Let me list out a few things that look good:
1. Academics- don't know about your undergrad, but the CFA adds to your academic profile. It speaks to your ability to take on difficult coursework (much as an MBA would require) and your quest for self-improvement. GMAT/GRE is another important component that points to your academic capability. Did you apply to MIT Sloan with a test score or you had a waiver?
2. Military experience is considered positively because of the leadership skill one acquires through it, which are valued both by business schools and the post-MBA employers. I am not concerned about the lack of international experience- while this is desirable, it will not keep you from getting admitted into an MBA program.
3. your volunteering experience can be churned around for achievement and impact stories that will go towards creating a strong resume and provide stories for essays.
Among my concerns is - what did you write for your career goals. With 18 years of experience, you will have to be careful about which industries will value your skill set and be ready to employ you, as well as sponsor your visa.
You should go ahead and apply to the other 2 programs, but it will still be valuable to first understand any gaps in your MIT application and work upon those. In terms of your profile, I am quite confident about it and will be happy to look at your resume for further evaluation.
Among other programs- you can consider USc iBear.
