I was just curious to know how b-schools look at multiple GMAT attempts. I've already given the GMAT twice and got 570 and then 670. I had a stellar verbal score in the second attempt (96) but quant was bad at 78 and so I plan to retake it to improve the quant . How would b-schools perceive this-- a negative mark on academics or a positive remark becuase of increasing scores.
A simple rule of thumb is three administrations- more than three might look like you are putting too much emphasis on the GMAT to the neglect of the other components of the your application.
