Hello,
Disclaimer
1. I don't work for any of these companies nor do I get paid by them. Fullstop.
2. In this context, 'free' means that you don't even have to mention any form of payment. (i.e trials with credit card commitments)
3. Yes, it's my first post.
Here is a list of free resources that I found useful while preparing for the GMAT. As far as I understand, they are all trials/promotions/etc. offered by a couple of different companies. What matters is that, they are free and that I wish I knew about them sooner.
1. Gmat Pill: Question bank and a full length test
2. Veritas Prep: 2 Full length tests and large question bank
3. Optimus Prep: 1 hour of online trial which seems like a 1:1 sit down. I haven't tried this yet but it sounds like a good place to get any questions answered.
4.
Magoosh: 30 day (?) Free trial and 19 (Quant) + 15 (Verbal) questions. Contains a range of intro topics in text/video format. Very impressive
Other free resources:
1. Economist GMAT: I'm unsure as to what is being offered for free and what the terms and conditions are.
2. The local library: This one surprised me too, I didn't think it was possible!
3. Events and Promotions Calendar: available on the GMAT forums website (top-left).
Hope this helps, feel free to let me know if I missed anything and I'll add it to the list.
