Hello all,
I just gave the GMAT second time recently & though my score is not up to mark, one thing I would like to stress is to do the GMAT PREP exam from the mba website. I must have given the exam atleast 10 times after reinstalling once. By the 3rd test, I got 50% new questions every time I gave. I was more concerned about learning the question type & traps in Math more than my score. I believe the GPREP software has a vast pool of MATH questions! I scored 48 in Math in real exam.
None of the tests I had taken so far -
MGMAT, Knewton come anywhere close to the real GMAT in terms of Math. The language of the exam is truly reflected in the GPREP software. Not that the math is tough but it has a language that the other tests available don't represent that well. I like the
MGMAT question banks more than their exams.
Now my verbal is a different story, all my tests yielded marks in range of 35-40,
MGMAT,Knewton,GPREP. But the real one was disaster!
& I can't seem to figure out why, neither was I nervous & nor do I feel I lack the verbal needed to score in 35-40 range. My score is a puzzle to me.
Good Luck to all & remember GPREP is truly valuable only if you use it well!
