i interviewed with the admissions director so it was probably more difficult than a 2nd year or alumni. basically it was a long long conversation about why cornell, what i can contribute, and my long term goals. the obvious questions about leadership examples, teamwork examples, resolving difficult conflicts examples all apply... so make sure you can talk about specific instances of those. the ad comm was also good at asking follow up questions, so be mindful that at any given moment, if you mention any sort of adjective to describe yourself or something, that you have an example of it. that sort of caught me off guard a couple times. but my cornell interview was long enough (about 90 minutes.. yes 90 freaking minutes) to allow me to get comfortable and really be myself. standard interview etiquette applies.. be on time, well dressed, well mannered... keep eye contact, speak clearly and be enthusiastic about the program. thats prolly the best advice i can give...
