Many of you will notice I have posted similar topics to this one.
My problem w/ the OG is that the majority of the problems are too easy. This was great in the beggining b/c my abilities in both math and verbal were terrible. I forgot some of the most basic math principles.
Now if I get any OG probs wrong now, its b/c I made a really silly error. Nothing to do with content mastery. (No I am not repeating OG probs, if I happen to come across one I have done, I don't count it, but try and understand everything about it for 2min so it won't give me bonus timing when i shouldnt have it).
I heard OG probs are good for around a 650 score. well thats not good enough for me.
My beef w/ MGMAT is that its Quant isn't exactly too hard (although some problems are just ridiculous) but rather the time it takes to complete the majority of its Quant problems is too great in my opinion. Even some of the easier problems for MGMAT take too much time.
I think MGMAT problems are great for the test, b/c if the problems are supposedly harder than the real thing, then the GMAT quant should be easier.
I have some doubts about the ease of the GMAT quant compared to MGMAT...

What score are you looking for? 720 per your profile?
Weed out your "stupid" mistakes and go take the test. If you can solve the entire OG no problem, you just need some fine tuning and you're ready to go. Congratulations.

I think the last 50 or 80 questions of both the PS and DS sections of the OG11 are fairly close to the actual hard-bin GMAT problems. If you reach 50+ level questions in real GMAT, I believe you'll be looking at questions of the same concepts but deeper and harder. I am not sure where to look for, but you may find some good questions repeating the GMATprep tests over and over to get tough problems.
