completely approve!

Verbal part is the one you receive the most scores for. And you have it in the end, after 2,5 hours of brainwork. You must leave some resources for that. Sleep and coffee will work. Someone also mentioned sex on the previous day! :)

First of all, focus on the shorter passages. Longer passages were used in the old paper-based GMAT. In the current GMAT, they are much shorter. If you have the OG book, the last ones are quite similar to the actual test.
As a suggestion, maybe it sounds obvious, but not rad the following sentence if you have not understood the previous one. You do not need to understand everything, but you need at least to understand what was the context and the meaning of that sentence.

I was really surprised when the 760 came out! In particular for the verbal part, which I had never scored highr than 37.
I bought a lot of material and I alwas scored below 700, except for the official GMAT Prep, which I scored:
710
720
730 (2nd time I test)
700 (2nd time II test)
I always scored about 50 in the Q part, but always low in the verbal part.

I want to give you two advices:

1) Do the GMAT Prep a lot of times!!! The second time I did it, 80% of the questions were new, and most of these are very similar in structure as the actual GMAT (clearly you have to abstract a little bit in order to see similarities). Also do a lot of material of the official book, especially for the verbal section (Quant is too simple). I did not have the time, but I would reccoment to do each test 3 or 4 time, so plan it in advance!

2) Schedule the test in the afternoon, and sleep till late in the morning: I am not joking! This will dramatically improve especially your verbal part. All the tests that I did I was tired for long jobs hour, etc. Als do not forget to drink a coffe before begining, DO all the breaks with the maximum time, and eat some sweet in the breaks. Remember: verbal part is 50% concentration

Bye!!
C.
