Hey guys,

It's been a while since I posted anything here but I wanted to keep you all updated.

I got in to Kellogg! They called me with the good news yesterday.

I also applied to Harvard, U Chicago, Berkeley, and UCLA.

Chicago extended an interview invitation but Kellogg was one of my main choices so I won't be interviewing with Chicago.

It'll be a tough choice if Harvard says yes, but for now I'm very happy.

A little about my profile:

Naval Officer with four years of experience, all outside the continental US and International (I lived in Italy for a year).
Ohio State Grad, 3.00 GPA
GMAT-760

I must say that gmatclub played a huge role in my trek to getting admitted. I WOULD NOT have got my score if it wasn't for this place.

from one military member to another - awesome job. I just got my admit today. It just had to be the leadership experience the military gives you that got me in.

I got an admit invite from UCLA today. Still waiting to hear from Harvard (keeping expectations realistic though) and Berkeley.

Sweet. With your scores and experience, you should be able to get into Harvard. Congrats though on your current acceptances. Truly an awesome job.

Well, got the ding from Harvard today. Pretty much knew it was coming b/c of no interview invite.

I really don't feel bad. It's very competitive right now for military guys considering all the combat action that many have seen the last couple of years. Plus, usually the fighter pilots and spec ops guys get first looks at the elite schools. (I'm a ship driving navy guy)

All in all, it's been an interesting journey and I do believe I'm going to the best school for me.

Looks like Kellogg it is! :-D

Kellogg is awesome. You should be proud. How does that work with the ladies? "I'm going to Northwestern for an MBA...no big deal."

Congrats popew. It's all over now - you can rest since you got your top choice. I got a ding from MIT just this morning and with a Wharton and Chicago admit, the ding made me feel good! In fact, i did pray for the MIT ding.
