Also, can i get into any college with such a score???? I am looking forward to getting admitted to master's program(2024).

Partly depends on the program and your overall profile. Consider checking out the class profile of the program you are interested in. Things such as the average or median GMAT score can give you further insight.

It was 660 (V34,Q47). I had mixed emotions to it. I was aiming at 700+

Consider checking out a gmat scoring grid to see what combos can "combo" you to 700+.

How to score high on the GMAT. Why solving approach is important.

Hi Snahil,

First off, a 660/Q47 is a solid Score, so it could be enough to get you into your first-choice School. As such, a retest might not be necessary. If you just completed your 2nd year of Undergraduate University, then you might not know exactly what path you want to take with a Master's Degree (or the specific Schools/Programs that you plan to apply to), but since all of that is ultimately an Admissions issue, you would likely find it beneficial to speak with an Admissions Expert about your overall profile and plans. Those Experts should be able to answer your Admissions questions and help define the specific areas of your profile that could use some improvement (and the more time that you have to act on that advice, the better). There's a Forum full of those Experts here:

Hey Snahil,

First of all you should be super proud of your 660 score on the gmat. Considering it was your first ever test it is a stellar score and should help you get into your first choice schools. So Congrats!

However, if you are considering retaking the Gmat then I would def recommend working on your weaker areas and focus on understanding the concepts topic wise in order to grasp the knowledge on your weaker areas. This strategy will help you improve your overall performance when you sit for a retest.

I would suggest to go through the relevant concepts and try to understand the basics of those topics. Once you have done that then practice by answering dozens of practice questions involving that one topic until you get them correct consistently. Make sure you go topic wise first to ensure you grasp and understand the concepts being taught and then tackle as many questions within the topic as possible.

Personally, I did the same thing and choosing Target Test Prep for my Gmat learning has been the best decision I have made so far since it has helped me immensely in improving my gmat performance. TTP gmat course is pretty well designed and is super comprehensive. Best part is that it has a study plan that can be tailored according to your Gmat learning goals so you can tackle the weaker areas directly in your learning.

I would def recommend choosing TTP as your GMAT prep course to help you get that 700+ score you are aiming for. Please let me know if you have any queries regarding your gmat learning journey or need help with registering for the TTP course.

I was once in your shoes as well and would love to help you achieve the Gmat greatness you aspire :)

Cheers,

Osamah

Thank you so much for your kind words. I will surely go through the ttp course that you mentioned.
