Hey guys,
I've just taken a GMAT test today and got a low score... i think.....still need some more !!!!
I got only 600. (verbal 24 Quant 48)
I think I did the writing part better than I thought.
However, the quant part is more difficult than I thought !!!
The average amount of the quant score is about 49-50 for GMAT Prep.
But I got only 48 in the real test!!
I got 1 question about parabola equation !! I haven't thought that GMAT test covers this thing.
For the verbal section, I got only 24.
However, it's the expected number that I though I would get. I'm not really good at Verbal part..
I took 10 mins for each RC but I think chose a lot of wrong answers.
I took more than a min or 2 for each SC and CR.......
I need some advice how to improve my verbal skill !!!!
Any helpful prep program ? When should I retake the test ?

for verbal, MGMAT sentence correction guide is really good...
as for RC and CR, I really think you just need to do as many problems as possible while at the same time understanding the reason why each answer is incorrect/correct
I'm in a similar boat and this is my plan to help me be ready for round 2 on the GMAT verbal section...

keep your head up. I scored 620 the first time after a week of prep. After 3 solid months of studying i got a 710. Get the Manhattan series for verbal and more complicated math. Also use the 1000 series and verbal forum on GMAT club for extra verbal practice. You can do it!
