Hi Lucky2783,
First off, a 630/Q49 is a decent score (it's a bit shy of the 80th percentile overall), so it might be enough to get you into Business School. It's understandable why you would want to retest, but you might not actually need to.
Based on your own self-assessment of your skills, I'm curious about something (and this might help you better prepare for your next attempt). You're clearly well-versed in the Quant section (you repeatedly post correct answers to questions in the Quant Forums and your Q49 provides further evidence that you're strong in that area of the GMAT. So WHY were you spending so much time with those subjects if you thought that your Verbal skills were not strong enough?
Some Test Takers spend extra time on the categories that they "like", instead of spending that extra time on the subjects that REQUIRE it. You cannot avoid those 'weak spots' and expect to score at a high level though. Thankfully, everything on the GMAT is predictable and standardized, so you CAN train to score at a higher level, even in the Verbal section.
1) What resources did you use during your first round of studies?
2) What is your goal score?
3) When are you planning to apply to Business Schools?
4) Have you thought about what Schools you want to apply to?
GMAT assassins aren't born, they're made,

Hey Rich,
Thanks for your useful reply. I did not spend a lot of time on Quants , if asked for ratios, i would say the time spent was in 3:2 (V:Q) ratio.
I used OG 2015 , Verbal Review 2015 for SC , Critical Reasoning and Reading Comp and
MGMAT Prep for rehearsal tests .
I didn't use OG for Quants Part, just last 2 months gmatclub posts and a lot of 700+ level question on gmatclub .
700 will be a decent score to get me into my target schools. Yes , definitely i have done the homework and i know which business school(s) i want to get into.
I may retake the test after 90 days from now(if i get my dream score in rehearsal tests) , with a hope that i will keep the momentum alive with time.
During rehearsal tests as well as during preparation i have found my comprehension skills are not up to mark.
I am good at SC and i think SC saved me in verbal section otherwise my score would have been hit big time.
I am not sure how to improve my reading and comprehension skills , just blindly reading articles on Scientific America or other suggested websites will be enough ? i do not think so , i did exactly the same this time . Unless i understand the passage thoroughly it would be difficult to answer questions around it so it is not just reading , they come together reading and comprehension. I think most of the sentence correction question on GMAT are designed more to test your comprehension skill than the grammar , off course grammar is tested but i never felt that they just want to check your grammar skills on SC .
Let me know if you have any suggestion for me to improve my comprehension skills ?
thanks
